Moringa (fresh) for tea or cooking
Moringa is considered a superfood, known for its many health-enhancing properties, including regulating blood sugar and being very high in antioxidants. Used in Indian and South Asian cooking, it is excellent stir-fried or with lentils and rice (dal) or potatoes.
Can also be used as a tea- just wash leaves, pour boiling water and steep for 5 minutes. Moringa tea offers an earthy flavor similar to that of green tea. It is less bitter and astringent than most green tea varieties and can tolerate high temperatures and longer brewing times. The tea is frequently flavored with honey, mint, and cinnamon to balance out the earthy notes.
Order comes with fresh moringa leaves on branches, approx. 8 oz.
